In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ted Walker on April 14th, one day after his 84th birthday.

Surrounded by his family, Ted passed away peacefully at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Ted was born in Toronto on April 13th, 1940 and joined the RCAF, where he served as a pilot on the CP-107 Argus. He then worked as a commercial pilot for CP Air until moving to Ladysmith.

He and his wife, Gail, spent many years creating pottery in their studio on Chemainus Road before retiring. When not making pottery, Ted enjoyed belting out a good old country song on the beach. Ted also enjoyed the many hours he spent volunteering with the Lions and Eagles service clubs of Ladysmith.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; brother, John; sisters Kate and Judy; daughters, Kristine (John), Shanna (Greg), and Samantha (Peter), and his five grandchildren, Max, Anthony, Oliver, Jessie, and Braden.

No service by request.
